These equines are coming soon to the rescue. Here are brief descriptions:
MoonDoggie: July 26 - This little mini is 2 years old and stands at about 30.5".
He is gentle and sweet and needs to be gelded before he gets here. He should be available for adoption about the middle of August.
Dillon: Dillon is a registered 9YO palomino Quarter Horse. He is reluctantly being relinquished to the rescue because of his owner's financial difficulties. Dillon is currently wearing shoes and pads for a minor lameness issue and is showing to be sound with the shoes. Dillon is described as the easiest horse to get along with and takes things in stride. He has a quiet and loving personality and is not a dominant horse. He's been used for trails. More information coming soon.
Update: May 15 - Dillon's arrival has been delayed. We are told that his farrier has worked wonders with his new barefoot trim.
Update: July 19 - Dillon is still coming to Ruby Ranch. His owner is making arrangements to transport him to us. He has been sound since his new farrier has been giving him barefoot trims.
