Mosa is a 3YO dun filly who came to us through the El Paso County Sheriff's Dept. She was a little on the thin side but is just the sweetest filly, accepting our attention and now even asking for it. She is mild-mannered, leads up nicely and trailer loads. We haven't played with her in the roundpen just yet because of an old injury that was corrected with minor surgery on her front hoof. It is healing nicely and will cause her no problem in the future.
Update: Mosa was floated by our wonderful equine dentist, Dr. Sandi Grover. Mosa has gained the weight that she needs and has settled into a small herd of mares and two donkeys. She's a friendly girl and wants to get along with all of her herdmates - even the one that continues to pin her ears at her. Mosa is learning some roundpen skills and ground manners. It is evident that she had not been handled much and it is also evident that she is smart and catches on quickly to what is asked of her.
Update: Mosa has begun saddle training. She wears a saddle easily and accepts a rider as passenger.
