Shania is an 11 year old Pintabian mare who was one of the herd that came from the Fremont County abuse situation. She is a kind and curious mare with a shock of red forelock that adds to her attractiveness and gives credence to the folks who call her Lucy after Lucille Ball. She is about 14.2 and is getting a good start on lead line training, picking up her hooves and general ground manners. Shania has gained some weight and is now ready for a new home to bring her along to her full potential.
Update: Shania is being saddle trained at Rocky Mountain Horse Rescue in Arvada. See her updated pictures on their website, www.rockymountainhorserescue.org, on the information page. Also go to www.petfinder.com for pictures and information.
Update: Shania has returned to Ruby Ranch along with her pal, Keira. They will both continue their training here and are looking for the perfect forever home.
